About:

Megan Kizzort first skipped school in kindergarten. Both she and her parents decided that visiting the Musee de l’Orangerie and the Louvre during her dad’s business trip to France was more important than gluing construction paper. So, from a young age, the desire to travel, and to see and learn everything in her own way was cultivated.

She began homeschooling in order to manage both academic and extracurricular interest. Alternative education opened up many more possibilities and she began training seriously as a ballet dancer until she entered the University of Central Florida, which has greatly influenced her development as a student of art. Her years spent in classical vocal training and theater have widened her interests and range as well. In 2010, she entered the graphic design BFA program and is pursuing a BA in economics too. She hopes to continue to nurture her love of art in every form long after she graduates.
